Today, I talked to a young man who started his non-profit five years ago. He is super passionate about helping inner-city youth learn coding. He love teaching new skills, helping children find a sense of being and the smiles on their faces when they see their code work.

But, in his words, “I’m burning out!” Since its inception, he has been the “do everything employee” in his business. He has worked hard to create fundraising events, gain sponsors and establish places for his students to meet.

We talked extensively about social media and how he should be using it to do a lot of the networking and outreach. “I get it Karma, I know how important this part of my business could be but I’m just too busy!” At this point, people would probably think that I would say something that sounded like, “you can just hand it off to me and for ...$, I can run it for you.” But me being the person that I am, I thought about it and the only thing that came to my mind was this, everything has a season.

QOTD, are you looking for a way to make things happen but are out of options?  Stop for a minute, let the old things fall away and allow for new  relationships to begin to grow.
