Instagram Reels how to use them from beginning to end

Instagram Reels is a new feature on the platform that allows users to create 15-second videos set to music. The videos can be edited with a variety of creative tools including filters AR effects and audio. Reels can be shared on Instagram Stories in the main feed or on a dedicated Reels tab.

 

To get started with Instagram Reels open the app and tap on the camera icon in the top left corner. Then swipe over to "Reels" and tap on the "+" sign to create a new Reel. You can either upload a video from your camera roll or record a new video. Once you've selected or recorded your video you can edit it with creative tools like filters AR effects and audio. To add music to your Reel tap on the "Audio" button and select a song from Instagram's music library. You can also choose to lip sync to audio from other videos on Instagram.

5 When you're finished tap "Share" to share your Reel on Instagram Stories in your feed or on the dedicated Reels tab.
