How to research a #hashtag
I'm one of those people who have to research, just about everything! It's not that I don't trust what people do, its that I've got to know how it works for me.
There are a lot of ways to research hashtags but I've found that using #RiteTag is just about all I need to decide whether I use a hashtag or not.
I use RiteTag because of its ease of use and because it instantly tells me how many people are using the hashtag, how many retweets per hour & most importantly how many potential views per hour.
To use RiteTag simply sign in (I connected with my #Twitter account), then click on the research tool, at the top on the right hand side. type in the word you'd like to research, don't place the pound sign in the search), hit enter. In a few short seconds you'll get a brief overview of the hashtag with additional information.
