Three books every event planner should read.

I was chatting with someone the other day and we got to talking about servicing those you influence.  She stated to me that she dedicate one hour a day, five days of the week so that she can learn, apply and then teach what she's learned.  I explained to her that I do the same but that lately, I've been so busy learning that I've yet to teach what I've learned.  At that very moment, she stated to me, "If you don't teach what you've learned, you're doing everyone who is following you or looking for you, a disservice."  WHOA!  My mind got to thinking and as it did, I decided to share a few books that I've read over the last 30 days.

Now, you may be wondering why these three books are now on my bookshelf, so let me tell you why.

1)  I picked up Sponsorship for Influencers because I have to stay up to date on influencer marketing.  The more I know, the better I can assist you with getting sponsors for your events.

2)  You are a Badass at Making Money was a "THANK YOU!" gift from a client that loved the fact that I was honest and told her she really didn't need my services.

3)  Some of you may know this, some of you may not but I love reading and because I do, I've joined a network of christian women business owners who have decided to read SOAR to build their business.

I would go into everything that I learned from reading these three books but that would make this blog post into a document of more than 9 pages and as a business owner, I know "ain't nobody got time for that!"

I do want to say that when you read one of these or all three, I'd love to have a conversation with you and see what your thoughts are.  Simply go on over to Facebook and leave your reply on HOLIDAY WISH LIST

WAIT:  I almost forgot to say that these books are linked to Amazon, which means that if you make a purchase, I get a small commission, at no additional cost to you!  Just thought I'd better put that out there, cause I'm all about transparency!
