Start your holiday email campaign early. Here's how.

It’s that time a year again!

Yep, that time of year when you get all those emails, telling you about year end giving campaigns and how you should start, restructure or quit emailing your VIPs', aka your email subscribers.  I used to despise getting those emails until one day, the light bulb 💡 went off and I realized that this is the signal for me to pick up the phone and remind everyone about the currents events that would happen during the holiday season.

Since that time, I’ve made it a point to follow this routine below. It works well for me and those I work for so it might just work for you.

1) Look at the holiday calendar, what events are you attending or throwing that you can remind them of or invite them to?  Let them know to check their emails for the invite.

2). Does your client or previous sponsor have an upcoming event, anniversary, birthday? This is a great time to let them know that you remember and it’s a great conversation opener.

3). Look for previous event photos and comment on them asking “ hey____ I’m looking forward to seeing you again, or “caption this photo.
