Why podcasts are good for entrepreneurs
Podcasts are great for content creation because they tap into a very particular audience. People who tune in to podcasts do so because they enjoy an audio format. They also, are more likely to listen to many different types of podcasts throughout the week. For these reasons, it's important that you make sure your podcast is high quality and truly stands out from others in your niche.

Start by making a list of all the podcasts that you currently listen to and what you enjoy about each one.

- What are they missing?
- What would you add or take away?
- Who is your target audience and what do they want to know?

Start your podcast
Choose your software. I've been using Anchor.FM for quite sometime but there are many different software options available for recording and editing your podcast. Some are free while others come with a subscription fee.
Once you've got everything set up it's time to start recording your episodes. Then edit your episodes. That's the fun part!
Be sure to give some cool intros and outros, don't talk too fast and keep it entertaining. You'll be surprised at how interesting your episode will turn out!
Personally, I think my favorite part about Anchor.FM. Besides the one tap streaming, all you need is a cell phone or tablet and as soon as you create your first broadcast, you can monetize. And just recently they've added the option to VLOG aka video blog.
